Rogers was approached by Cree Lighting to submit a labor bid for a LED retrofit at DHL in Roanoke, TX. DHL had hoped to retrofit the facility a few years prior, but was unable to approve the budget. With Rogers joining the project, Cree revisited the initial proposal and was able to submit a bid that met the DHL’s needs: low cost, high return, and fast install. After reviewing the survey and solutions, Rogers and Cree submitted a turn-key bid that was quickly awarded.

Rogers worked directly with DHL and their tenant to schedule the material delivery, labor, recycling and waste removal, and rebate submissions. The retrofit was completed on schedule and without any issues. Before the end of the project, DHL reached out to Rogers and Cree to submit pricing on eight other distribution centers across the nation. In partnership with Cree, Rogers will be surveying and providing installation labor and rebate research and management for each location, totaling more than 7 million sq ft across seven states in the next year.
