Employee Spotlight
As we start off February after the longest January in all of time, we are so excited to share different parts of Rogers that highlight our technicians and the backbone of this company. Not only do we love sharing stories of our technicians going above and beyond at work, but we also love being able to share the stories and lives of the people who make Rogers what it is. With that being said, this week we would like to introduce to you Kenny Nichols. Kenny has been in this field for 16 years now, and we sat down with him to get a little insight on who he is as an employee, a father, and a technician in the best trade of all time.
Kenny, how long have you been an Electrician and why did you decide to pursue a career in the trade?
I have been an Electrician for 16 years. I chose this trade because I liked the idea of having specialized knowledge and a specific skill set. I also wanted a career that would challenge me mentally and physically.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
When I’m not working, I like to catch up on shows with my wife. I also enjoy hunting and golfing.
Do you have a favorite sports team?
My favorite football team is the Buffalo Bills and my favorite baseball team is the Atlanta Braves.
Where do you live?
I live in Madera, California but I am from Fresno.
How long have you & your spouse been together? How did you meet?
We have been together for 21 years and married for 14 years. We met our freshman year of high school.
Do you have children and if so, what ages are they?
I have 4 children, Brayden is 13 years old, Sabrina is 11 years old, Jacob is 10 years old, and Kamren is 9 years old.
