The Home Depot Foundation 2019

This year, The Home Depot Foundation charity event was in Asheville, NC. Our team here at Rogers was truly honored to be a part of something so incredible and to help further The Home Depot Foundation’s mission around veterans housing, communities affected by natural disasters and training our separating servicemen and women in skilled trades. The Home Depot Foundation and Team Depot, 400,000-strong army of associate volunteers, work endlessly in their community and we are so excited to have played such a small part in giving back to the Asheville community alongside The Home Depot Foundation.

The event was incredibly successful this year raising more than $2.6 million! Together, all who were involved last week established new amenities that will positively impact the residents of ABCCM’s (Christian Nonprofit in Asheville, NC) Veteran Restoration Quarters. Not only were we able to help the HD Foundation raise funds, but we are also grateful to have donated our time and effort working alongside The HD’s nonprofit partners to paint murals, construct dog beds, assemble classroom furniture, install new flooring, renovate housing units and build benches, gazebos and a greenhouse. We’re excited to see how the enhancements made across the community’s campus will enrich the lives of each person who passes through while they get back on their feet.

We, along with The Home Depot Foundation, heard and experienced an abundance of gratitude from our nonprofit partner and the residents of this remarkable community. Thank you to The HD for including us in this year’s Foundation event! #CHOOSETOSERVE
