We “R” All Better Charity Golf Tournament
Rogers successfully raised $112,000 for Children’s Food Allergy Program!
Last Thursday, Rogers successfully pulled off another charity golf tournament and our first benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s Food Allergy Program. Our Golf Tournament committee has been working every day for the last 8 months to make sure this golf tournament turned out quite near to perfect, and sure enough: it did. Rogers is a close partner with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta working to help raise awareness and funds for the families who spend their time in Children’s facility, and we are so honored to be partners with such an incredible non-profit.
We had some of our closest vendors, customers, friends, remote office employees, and Children’s partners come out to support our golf tournament with monetary donations, sponsorships, swag, craft beer, and so many other small pieces and parts that made this golf tournament a complete success. Not only did we get to enjoy the incredible weather in Alpharetta, GA out on the golf course, but with each second we were raising funds for research and awareness for families battling severe food allergies. From the months it took to plan this incredible event all the way up until our shotgun start at 10 AM sharp, all the way through to announcing our winners, we can’t tell you all how appreciative we are of every single person and company who has supported this cause both financially and by showing up to play a fun game of golf. We would like to thank Susan Goldberg for sharing her story on her daughter, Julia, our dear friends at Children’s who helped us bring this tournament together, our golf tournament committee for working so incredibly hard to make this happen, and the Rogers family for having such a heart for their community.
Not only was our second charity golf tournament a huge success by the incredible number of participants who showed up to play and those who participated in our silent auction and raffle, but we are so proud to announce that this year’s We “R” All Better Charity Golf Tournament raised $112,000 for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s Food Allergy Program. We are thrilled to be a part of something so impactful and special, and we cannot wait for the next tournament!
